Amy Robertson – Intern Performer/Team Leader
Amy Robertson has been an actor for Fine Edge theatre company since January 2011. Before joining Fine Edge Amy completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts at Edith Cowan University. Amy graduated with a Theatre major and a Performing Arts minor with WAAPA. Performing Arts has been a passion of Amy’s since high school drama class. She believes the arts have the power to inspire all that are involved. Amy enjoys travelling and reading.
Emily Hughes – Intern Performer
Emily came into Fine Edge after finishing high school and this is her second year with the company. Emily loves acting because she loves tranfoming herself into a character and acting out a story. She is passionate about giving students an enjoyable and fun experience, and loves traveling with Fine Edge. Emily loves being at the beach, horse riding and spending time with her friends and family.

Rebekah Dawn – Intern Performer
Rebekah has been acting, singing and dancing since age 7, and has a degree in Theatre and Dance. She also enjoys choreographing, directing, teaching, and working with youth. She loves performing for youth audiences for the energy they bring and the impact she can leave. Her ultimate goal would be to open a non-profit community center which makes the performing arts accessible to at-risk and under privileged youth.
Jess Mess – Artistic Director/Writer
Jess is an accomplished writer, actor and director and has won numerous awards for her work. Jess believes in writing plays that are engaging and socially transformative. Jess has performed with Fine Edge in the past, and now develops all of the shows they perform. She enjoys playing the ukulele and free-style rapping.

Theo Messenger – Coordinator
Theo has trained and worked as an actor both professionally and in community productions. He now coordinates Fine Edge Theatre Company at SU WA, where he has worked for the past 6 years. He is passionate about using creativity and forum learning to bring about hope and change in communities across the globe. He believes that drama is an amazing medium that helps audiences express themselves and engage in difficult topics. He enjoys gardening and spending time with his family.
