A tent camp held on a farm on the Kalgan River near Albany is the site for one of the best week’s you can experience! You will experience the thrill of a night paddle on the Kalgan River, conquer Bluff Knoll (the highest mountain in the south west of WA) and climb amazing peaks in the Porongurup Ranges. Swimming in the crystal waters of Frenchman’s Bay, enjoying lantern stalks, wide games and hanging out with new friends are just some of the thrills you will experience. Most importantly, we find out what God has in store for your life. Decades of campers can’t be wrong. This camp always fills fast so get in quick.
Team Leaders: Steve and Jo Poole
Steve is an Agronomist. He and his wife go to Living Water Anglican Fellowship and have a small business as well as helping with the family farm in Albany. Steve has led in many camps (Canoemup, Sailing Camp and Glen Echo) since 1994 and been the team leader for Kayaking/rafting camps on the Avon and Murray rivers, and Camp Glen Echo 2 for about 6 years.
Steve loves Glen Echo Camp and loves to be able to share his farm with young people to help them get to know God better. His Wife and three children also love Glen Echo Camp – so it’s great to be involved!
