We are looking for a suitable person to join the team as Scripture Union’s Financial Officer. The Finance Officer is to facilitate the operation of SU through providing acurate and timely financial management, reporting and forecasting for the movement.
Core Competencies
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in accounting, Commerce or other related discipline
- At least 5 years relevant finance experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent time management
- Ability to meet work targets and deadlines without close supervision
- Ability to operate accounts to an industry standard
- Proficiency with accounting software (MYOB and Excel)
- A “can-do” attitude with strong attention to detail
- Experience in reporting to and interacting directly with a board (preferred)
